Belong NL has created The Insider’s Guide to Almere, a 270-page community-built resource designed to make settling in Almere simple, welcoming, and fast.
Built with and for the community, the guide removes information barriers by offering clear, locally verified insights on housing, schools, healthcare, mobility, work and business, civic life, and everyday processes. It’s a practical companion for navigating a new city with confidence.
As a central part of the Belong NL ecosystem, the guide reflects our mission: transforming cities into communities where internationals move from feeling uncertain to feeling that they truly matter.
This is more than a guide. It’s a step toward creating the conditions where belonging happens naturally. Our goal with this guide is to support every newcomer to belong emotionally, socially, and structurally.
